"PBS" employees have inspected the state of rainwater inlets on Karmeliuk street. Almost all of them are stuffed with dirt and clogged, which leads to water stagnation on the road.
"PBS" did a major repair of the street back in 2016. After the completion, it was put to operation and assigned to the balance of the customer. The municipal services of the city didn't manage to clean the inlets a single time.
"Almost all the inlets are clogged with garbage. There's even grass grown here. In addition to sand and clay, we've found beer bottles, syringes and plastic bags", - "PBS" workers.
"PBS" workers also suspect glass bottles to be be put in intentionally. Perhaps even by janitors who clean the territory. Even though Karmeliuk street is already assigned to the balance of the city, "PBS" still carries out cleaning of inlets all along the street.
"Since municipal services fail with their duties, we are forced to clean the inlets on our own. Due to water stagnation, the road surface may suffer from fissures, we don't want it, as we are worrying for the results of our work", - Bohdan Butnytskyi, chief water and sanitation specialist at "PBS".
"PBS" will clean up all the rainwater inlets on Karmeliuk street today, similar work will take place tomorrow on Tychyna street, where inlets are also completely clogged. "PBS" recommends that from now on the city municipal servies carry out their duties twice a year.
