Beregovo - Badalovo - Vary - Borzhava road: the repairs have started
The works on the road of regional significance, Beregovo - Badalovo - Vary - Borzhava, have started on July 13. The "PBS" employees are now repairing the road in the village of Mocholy, Beregovo district. Preparatory works are underway.
"The road has not been repaired for decades. Not only the road surface is completely destroyed, but also a lot of crushed stone and other garbage can be found on the roadside. We're cleaning the roadsides, we're сutting down the shrubs. As soon as these preparatory steps are done, we will begin repairing the route", - says Ihor Pysmennyi, a road master at "PBS".
Before the actual repairs, an own research of the project was conducted by "PBS", together with specialists from specialized road-building institutes. After the matter was carefully studied, it turned out the technology was unreliable and had numerous risks involved. "Since the old construct doesn't meet the required standards, we will have to strengthen the old road base. We are using the cold recycling method. The implementation of this advanced technology will drastically prolong the life cycle of the road", - says Oleksandr Avgustovskyi, a road master at "PBS".
According to the plan, approximately two kilometers of the road will be repaired. As soon as additional funds are allocated, the works will resume.
Simultaneously, the company from Bukovel is repairing the Black Tysa - Yablunytsia road.
