Tatariv: an upper gravel-mastic concrete layer is being applied
An upper gravel-mastic concrete layer is being applied to a road H-09 section in Tatariv.
"Due to logistics delays and unfavorable weather conditions, the process had to be interrupted. Now the works will be resumed. The upper layer of gravel-mastic asphalt concrete is being arranged in Tatariv, we continue the work to the direction of Deliatyn", - PBS press center.
The upper layer must necessarily cover the coarse bottom asphalt concrete, otherwise fissures may appear during winter periods. Gravel-mastic mixes protect lower layers from deformation and moisture, thus the entire construct becomes more durable.
