Kosiv bridge: repairs are underway
PBS brigades carry out preparatory work for the construction of Kosiv bridge.
"We're now asphalting approaching paths to the object, merging sections between support pillars and retaining walls. In addition, we're extending the cross-bar, there will be an additional section where illumination lights will be installed", - Yuriy Pobiushka, foreman of PBS.
The old Kosiv bridge was swept away by the flood back in 2008. 10 years ago, support pillars for a new bridge were installed. However, further works haven't started since then. Kosivians are waiting for a new bridge for decades, using a temporary metal structure.
"We understand how much this bridge is needed by Kosiv community. I am convinced PBS will do their work quickly and local folks will enjoy a new bridge, which will last many years", - Dmytro Siredzhuk, deputy of the regional council.
