Strymba-Loieva: old road surface loosening is underway
More than a kilometer of the road has been already prepared. The works preceed fast, as we have two cutter units are working simultaneously.
"The width of the road is 9-10 meters. It would take weeks to work with one cutter, but having two units instead allows us to double our tempo. The road will be as new as a flower tomorrow", - Yuriy Kliusa, road master at PBS.
As soon as milling is complete, we will proceed by correcting the road base level and strengthening it using the method of cold recycling.
The section length to be repaired is almost two kilometers. Those segments were left intact due to a guarantee obligation given by the previous executing company. As soon as additional funds are allocated, the remaining sections will be repaired.
