An upper gravel mastic asphalt-concrete layer is being installed on the road H-09. The PBS company is now working in the village of Mykulychyn, Yaremche district. From Tatariv to Mykulychyn, more than 15 kilometers of gravel-mastic coating have been arranged.
PBS employees are asking drivers to respect the traffic rules. We understand intensive traffic is causing jams, but we allow vehicles to pass every 5-10 minutes, so you don't have to wait a lot.
"Unfortunately, many drivers violate the rules. We understand that everyone has their own hurries, but we ask you not to drive over the newly concluded hot asphalt. After a car passes over uncomplete coating, our work gets destroyed. If a heavy vehicle gets over it, then the deformation is very hard to fix. The damage is even worse, if a driver then tries to drive aside - wheels might leave a significant trace. After the asphalt is concluded, it has to lay still for an hour, or even more, depending on air temperature", - Vitalii Olexyn, road master at PBS.
Last weekend there were significant traffic jams. When only one traffic lane was available, it was impossible to drive properly. The jams were up to one kilometer long.
Last time the road was repaired decades ago, thus we ask everyone to be patient. Thank you for your patirnce and support. We would also thank taxpayers for their great contribution to the reconstruction of the country.
