The road in Liuchky is being asphalted
Yabluniv - Deliatyn road: repairs are underway. The road is being asphalted in the village of Liuchky. PBS workers are now applying the upper asphalt layer.
"The construction of the asphalt concrete layer began last night. We push ourselves to the limit, as we want to provide comfortable and high-quality travels for local residents as soon as possible", - Volodymyr Varchenko, road master at PBS.
The road is being repaired 24 hours a day. As the asphalting of the road is usually executed nightly, daytime we use to strengthening the road base with cold recycling. The old milled material is being improved by adding C-7 composition, cement and bitumen. We're making a solid concrete foundation, which will provide high quality road sufrace for several decades.
"The works are in full swing. We work in close co-operation with local residents, as they are always interested in how things are going, controling both quality and terms", - Volodymyr Bygar, executive director of PBS.
As the result of the last round of protests, residents of roadside villages have succeded to push the decision in order for PBS to continue the repairs of the highway. Over the course of the year, more than 16 kilometers of road have already been completed in Nadvirna district. The works are now underway in Kosiv district.
