It finally happened. The Sichovykh Striltsiv street in Chernivtsi is being repaired by PBS. The work is continuing around the clock.
"The works started according to the plan. On October 10 we dismantled the old burdure stone. On the night of October 11, we made the cold milling of the roadway. We've also eliminated asphalt flaws at Ruska street. We've strengthened the road base, and today we are putting down asphalt-concrete. The repairs are carried out very quickly and qualitatively. Our firm plans to complete the overhaul by the end of October ", - Oleksandr Lastivka, head of Chernivtsi district of PBS.
The Sichovykh Striltsiv street in Chernivtsi is infamous for its bad asphalt quality. Though the pits were so horrible that it couldn't be driven through without damaging the running gear, major repairs on this road began from the second attempt. The first tender was held in March. Then the customer signed the contract with the winning organization, but the firm hasn't yet started the work. They had to break the contract and reinitialize the tender procedures.
Now the winner has been determined, that is PBS and we're already working on the project.
"Given the fact that it's fall already and soon the temperature will not allow us to work with asphalt, we will repair the driveway partly this year. As for the sidewalks overhaul, we will continue in spring 2019", - Oleksandr Lastivka.
The overhaul repairs of the road itself is carried out around the clock.
