P-62 road repairs have started not far from Velykyi Rozhyn
The PBS road company is now repairing the P-62 road between Tiudiv and Velykyi Rozhyn. Road builders work on a 1800-meter plot. Now the old road coating is being loosened and the drainage system is being installed.
The road repairs became bossible with the assistance of the People's Deputies of Ukraine Oleksandr Shevchenko and Maria Matios and the Ivano-Frankivsk region Road Service Chairman Vasyl Budzhak.
"Due to the persistence of our community, we have achieved redistribution of funds for the completion of the bridge on the road T-09-10, Burshtyn - Kalush, on the road P-62, Kryvorivnia - Chernivtsi, in the amount of 10 million UAH. No additional funds were allocated, nor was a penny given for paying for work already done on the roads like Ivano-Frankivsk - Nadvirna, Deliatyn - Kolomyia - Rakivchyk, Kosiv - Kuty, 248 million UAH overall. I am convinced that the PBS company will carry out all the repair work near Velykyi Rozhyn fast enough: in a week people will enjoy a comfortable passage", - Oleksandr Shevchenko.
The P-62 road connects two regions - Subcarpathia and Bukovyna. Near the village of Velykyi Rozhyn, the road hasn't been repaired for decades. Because of the terrible state of the road, people were forced to protest and block the road.
