On the last Sunday of October, the automobilist's and roadbuilder's day is traditionally celebrated.
On October 13, 1993, the Decree No. 452/93, "On the Automobilists and Road-builders Day celebration", was signed by the first president of Ukraine, Mr. Kravchuk.
However, the history of the professional holiday begins much earlier - on October 1, 1980, when the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of Ukrainian SSR issued the Decree No. 3018-X "On holidays and memorable days", which, among other things, ordered to establish "The Motorist's Day" (known as the "The Driver's Day"). The Ukrainian authorities made this holiday common for drivers and roadbuilders.
The PBS company sends their best wishes to everyone involved in the industry and wishes every corner of Ukraine to have high-quality roads. We're always ready to help with that!
