PBS is installing a gravel-mastic-asphalt layer between Strymba and Loieva
PBS road-builders are close to complete the repairs of a H-09 road segment. The works are underway in Nadvirna district, between the villages of Strymba and Loieva. Recently, there was a coarse asphalt concrete layer installed, now followed by a finishing layer of gravel-mastic asphalt concrete.
"We're glad to be able to complete the repairs of this fragment until winter comes. The finishing layer we mentioned will protect the road construct from negative effects of water stagnation. Due to poor financing though, many sites remain unfinished, some of them remain partially repaired for several winters", - Vasyl Matsuk, production and technical department engineer at PBS.
The works are carried out on a plot of almost two kilometers in length. As soon as major repairs are finished, the roadside will be significantly reinforced and plastic road marking will be applied.
