The Tiudiv - Velykyi Rozhyn road has been repaired
The works planned for repairing the road R-62, between the villages of Tudiv and Veliky Rozhin, Kosivsky rayon, were completed. Scheduled works are complete, in accordance to the amount of funds being allocated. PBS road builders have provided proper condition of a 1.8-kilometer section of the road. Bottom asphalt concrete layer has been arranged, concrete foundation - strengthened with cold recycling technology, road profile - restored and sewage system - set up.
"Right now the road is hardly recognizable. We've been waiting for this for so long. Thanks to the local community who literally struggled to make those repairs possible, and we thank our deputies as well for their help". "I'm old enough to remember how it was. This road here was basically non-existent. I wish they could repair the entire road, as quite a piece remains untouched. We would be very happy", - local residents.
In 2018, no funds were allocated in order to repair this segment of the road. Having the support of People's Deputies Oleksandr Shevchenko, Maria Matios, Vasyl Budzhak (Head of Road Service department) and others - we've managed to сompel higher authorities to reallocate funds, in the amount of 10 million UAH.
"It has become my personal cause, to hear out and assist the local folk, with their problems. The state of roads was just awful. In a short period of time, it changed drastically and for better. I am convinced that the entire Kryvorivnia - Chernivtsi road will receive high quality repairs, in the nearest future", - Oleksandr Shevchenko.
Thought it wasn't by no means a big project, on the other end of the spectrum, we faced severe difficulties with it, due to recent attack on our trucks and drivers. Sadly, but the interlopers, responsible for that barbaric act, haven't been arrested yet.
