Road repairs start in the village of Piilo
PBS is repairing the road in the village of Piilo, in Kalush district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. The length of the plot is 1100 meters. Right now it appears to be the worst segment of the road H-10, Stryi - Mamalyha, which had to be skipped due to the lack of funding. Road repair activity has already been resumed. On November 13, PBS workers began milling the old road pavement.
"The plot is small, but problematic. The pits are huge. Cars have to drive around, being forced to turn to the roadside. We'll do our best to repair the road as soon as possible. As usual, we'll do coating regeneration, then asphalt", - Mykola Serhiichuk, PBS chief engineer.
The funds allocation status is inconsolable. At the moment, we can afford repairs of a problematic plot in Piilo village. In the village of Holyn, Kalush district, there is a plot equally bad and it requires immediate repairs.
"High-quality roads should be everywhere, no matter big city or small village. The bigger part of the state-importance road H-10 in Kalush district has been repaired. I will do my best to ensure proper vehicle traffic through the village of Holyn", - said Viktor Shevchenko, Pople's Deputy of Ukraine.
