Road repairs continued in Bodnariv
"PBS" employees are pulverizing the old road coating of the worst segments of the road then immediately asphalt them. The works continue on the ascent, as well as directly on the bridge. The site has already been partially repaired. On both sides of the road, cuvettes have been restored to ensure proper drainage.
"Because of the narrow road and the impossibility of detouring, the traffic is somewhat problematic. Traffic jams often appear here. We're trying to complete the repairs as soon as possible, thus multiple brigades are working in Bodnariv", - "PBS" road operation and maintenance department spokesperson.
The repairs are carried out within the operational maintenance framework provided for the national significance road H-10 Stryi-Mamalyha in Ivano-Frankivsk region, which "PBS" is accountable for. Those are only minor repairs. Major repairs of this site are impossible at the moment, as there are future plans to resume the construction of the bridge, which was swept away by the flood in 2008. In order to save the taxpayer money, major repairs of the approaching road, including lifting, will be made as soon as the construction of the ferry is finished.
