Ror almost a month, rainy weather prevails in the Subcarpathian region. Unfavorable weather conditions are pushing the schedule back for "PBS" road builders. The national significance road H-10 Stryi - Mamalyha in Dolyna district gets repaired with a notable backlog.
"This area should've been finished completely in a month, speaking of lower asphalt concrete layer. Meanwhile, we've managed to complete only 2 kilometers of the road. It is clear that we are unable to do our job when it rains heavily, and speaking of rainy days, there were plenty of those in May", - complains Volodymyr Byhar, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk office of "PBS".
The backlog is evident also in other areas of "PBS" operations. The inconveniences are clear for road builders themselves, also drivers and locals. As soon as weather stabilizes, the works will continue around the clock to catch up with the schedule. As for the next week, however, rains are once again on the forecast.
