Excavation works underway on the H-09 road in Irshava district
"PBS" is initiating preparatory work for partial repairs of the road H-09 Mukachevo - Ivano-Frankivsk - Lviv in Transcarpathian region. The area of operations is km 34+000 - km 43+500 in Irshava district.
“Since only 1 million UAH have been allocated for these road repairs, we're able to carry out excavation work at the moment. We're fixing water drainage and cleaning the ditches from the bushes. The area of works is near the village of Vilkhivka. Our job is to clean 7 kilometers total of cuvettes", - says "PBS" foreman Bohdan Zalishchuk.
So far, the repairs of the road surface itself are delayed due to insufficient funds. However, if funded appropriately, "PBS" employees will repair the road using the cold recycling technology, by installing two asphalt concrete layers. This includes bridge repairs, supporting pillar strengthening, repaired landing areas and sidewalks. According to the project, the total length of the road to be repaired is 9.5 kilometers.
As for the H-09 road repairs in Rakhiv and Tiachiv districts, which are also in high demand, sadly, but there are no tenders concluded at the moment for those areas.
