Repairs initiated at Avtolyvmash street in Ivano-Frankivsk
Road repairs have been initiated at Avtolyvmash street in Ivano-Frankivsk. A "PBS" brigade is working to completely replace the old rainwater inlets.
"They need to be replaced because the old drainage system is failing to function properly. Water stagnation on the road leads to its quick destruction. As soon as the issue is fixed, we will proceed to making pavement upgrades”, - says Bohdan Butnytskyi, chief water and sewer specialist at "PBS".
Further plans also include building parking areas, sidewalks, landscaping and introduction of a new traffic scheme.
The Avtolyvmash street is one of the worst in Ivano-Frankivsk. However, it will soon become one of the city's best, as the section from the railway crossing to Youth street will be repaired.
