"PBS" is paving a cycling lane near the Ivano-Frankivsk big lake
Our company has won the tender for the construction of a cycling lane near the Ivano-Frankivsk big lake. We are paving a bicycle-friendy path from the central lake entrance to the very "Park Hotel" premises, the route which runs past neighboring places of interest like observation deck, water well and the "Island of Lovers".
“There were no cycling lanes here before, thus we have to build everything from scratch. To set things right, we dug a 60-centimeter-deep ditch, arranged drainages to absorb groundwater, took waterproofing measures. Next stage, we put in side stones and arranged a gravel-sand mixture pillow. The only thing left is to finalize the lane with a fine grained asphalt concrete layer", - says "PBS" engineer Anatolii Svestun.
The length of the trail is 627 meters. Width - 2.7 meters. The shrubs that grew on the site of the future bike lane were carefully removed.
