The Bukovelian company "PBS" started overhauling the Yaremche bypass.
The Bandera street will soon have a completely different look, and the center area will be released from an excessive amount of cars. "PBS" started repairing the imfamous Yaremche bypass, which drivers tried to avoid at every opportunity.
Right now a milling bridage is working to remove the old cover. At the same time we're doing the reconstruction of the rainwater sewer network and surface water runoff.
The Stepan Bandera street has long been in need of a major overhaul. The locals have been complaining year after year, unable to achieve any result:
“Look at those pits, they're huge. The train station is right here, one of Yaremche's sightseeing venues. And what do tourists see as they come to see it? Puddles that never dry out and pits, pits and some more pits”, - says local resident Vasyl.
The street is currently closed. We apologize for the inconvenience, but for the days to come everyone will have to travel through the center. Most drivers took this route anyway.
The preliminary plans have it that more than a kilometer of the road is going to be repaired. We will completely replace the roadwear, constuct a reliable foundation and arrange two asphalt concrete layers.
Also, according to the project, we will arrange new sidewalks. But it'll probably be next year.
If weather permits, the road will be completely paved in a week or two.
