Bridge over Rybnytsia river in Kosiv completed!
The river ferriage on the T-24-Tatariv-Kamianets-Podilskyi road has been completed by the Bukovelian company "PBS".
This bridge has a terrible history. The constuction started in 2008, after the old bridge was swept away by the flood. However, with no funding allocated for repairs, people have been using a temporary bridge, constucted by the military, for 10 years.
"PBS" specialists began construction in the second half of 2018. At that time, only supporting pillars remained from the suspended construction, which had to be strengthened. The structure has three spans, with a total length of 71 meters. The bridge is modern and reliable. There are special filtration wells for water drainage, high quality illumination, modern polyurethane sidewalks, disability-friendly handrails.
"PBS" employees completed the bridge in less than one and a half years. The construction is able to withstand heavy loads.
