Preparatory work commencing for Khotyn street overhaul
"PBS" has begun overhauling the Khotyn street in Chernivtsi, a major infrastructural object for the city and the region in general. It stretches for almost 5 kilometers and we're going for the full overhaul. The initial schedule is to replace the underground communications first, then widen the road, restore the surface and make good sidewalks and cycling lanes.
Preparations have now begun: we are installing the road signs that will inform drivers of a possible detour.
The repairs will be carried out in three stages:
- The first section - from Alexandrii street, to the exit for "Kalynivskyi market";
- The second area is from Halytskyi Shliakh to Enerhetychna street;
- For the third stage, we will repair the section from Enerhetychna to the exit for "Kalynivskyi market".
The works will be carried out nightly. Given the favorable weather conditions, the street should be partially asphalted by the end of the year.
