"PBS" started repairing the M-12 highway
"PBS" has started repairing the international highway M-12 Stryi - Znamianka. The repairs are carried out within the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Our specialists are working from the Rohatyn bypass and move towards the village of Pukiv, Rohatyn district. It is planned to repair more than 8 kilometers of the road. Cold milling and adding in gravel-sand material is currently underway, in order to strengthen the road base. Later, the asphalt pavement will be pressed.
The repairs are scheduled for 2020-2021, respectively, the work will continue next year.
The M-12 Stryi - Znamianka highway remained in a poor condition for years, especially in the village of Pukiv. According to the Ivano-Frankivsk Road Service Department chairman Vasyl Budzhak, this section is not an area of strategic importance, thus the repairs have been constantly postponed. In the nearest future, this highway will be upgraded and the traffic will increase significantly.
