Commencing bridge сonstruction between Verkhovyna and Zamahora
Bridge construction works over the river Zhabevskaya on the road C-09-02-05, Krasnoyilla - Zamagora - Verkhovyna, has been scheduled to start on November 1.
The works will be carried out near Verkhovyna. Back in June, this bridge, like many other ones, was completely swept away by the flood. A temporarily military bridge was erected back then, which allowed passage across the river. This temporary structure can be taken away at any time. Therefore, "PBS" employees must build a new bridge at a fast pace.
Due to large vehicle operation, the traffic will have to be temporarily closed for 2-3 hours.
Even though the road is in poor condition, the traffic is quite intensive. The place has beautiful scenery and boasts a signigicant tourist flow. It was here that the movie "Shadows of the Forgotten Ancestors" directed by Serhiii Paradhzanov was shot.
To avoid traffic jams, we strongly recommend taking a detour route - from the direction of Krasnoillia. We will install the appropriate road signs and do our best to complete the bridge as soon as possible. We kindly apologize for these temporary inconveniences!
