"PBS" carrying our roadway-to-bridge reprofiling
"PBS" is currently working on roadway-to-bridge reporofiling of a road in Rakhiv district. We are talking the section km 190+020 - km 190+442, the one stretching under two railway bridges. The height was insufficient for heavy truck traffic, but not any longer.
The road has been lowered by 1.6 meters. The ground works have already been completed, deformations have been eliminated, the oversized stone and the gravel-sand mixture C-5 have been filled up. We have already installed a water drainage pipe and are in the process of arranging ditches. Moreover, we are widening the construction site around the retaining wall.
Again, the road being reprofiled runs under two railway bridges. Previously, the dimensions didn't allow for large truck passage, respectively, heavy transport had to take a hundreds of kilometers long detour. Now the space from the road to the bridge is almost 6 meters, which is acceptable.
